Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - Welcome Dinner – Water Puppet Show (D)

Welcome upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will pick you up at arrival gates with the name board. Following this, you will be transferred to the city center of Hanoi for hotel check-in. The rest of the day is your free time to stroll around Hanoi’s Old Quarter by yourself or simply relax at the hotel.

After that, you will be guided to visit Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as Sword Lake) which is considered as the heart of 1000-year-old Hanoi capital with the tranquil landscapes. Moreover, you have a chance to wander around Hanoi’s Old Quarter consisting of 36 ancient streets, some of which specialize in particular merchandises. These streets are always busy with hundreds of motorbike and scooter as well as bunches of shops selling traditional art products. You will be surprised at the “life” on the sidewalk where local people do various vivid activities such as chatting, watching TV, cooking, even eating, and so on.

Then, you will stop at a Water Puppet Theatre where you will enjoy one of the most interesting traditional art performances. This show, telling you about some legendary stories, sacred animal dancing, and farming works, is accompanied by traditional live music.

After finishing the show, you will be welcomed by a hospitable dinner in a local restaurant.

Come back to the hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

8.30 am: After having breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel lobby to depart for a full-day Hanoi city tour.

8.30 am -10.30 am: You will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, House on stilt, Fish pond, and One Pillar Pagoda.

Firstly, you have a chance to admire the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, also called Uncle Ho, who is a great national hero in Vietnamese revolution history. Remember the mausoleum is opened in the morning only except from Monday and Friday, moreover, it is closed annually from June to August.

Next, you will visit House 54 and Uncle Ho’s House on stilt where he used during his last 15 years in his life. You will certainly be surprised why Ho Chi Minh didn’t live in the Presidential Palace nearby, instead, he stayed in small houses which you never think a president used to live in.

Then, on the way out we pay a visit to One Pillar Pagoda in the shape of a lotus flower, built-in 1049.

10.30 am -11.30 am: Moving to the next place which you can pick one among these museums:


  • Military History Museum: displaying objects related to resistance wars from ancient times to the Vietnam War including four national treasures of tanks, combat aircraft, so on.

  • Hoa Lo Prison: Being built by the French to capture Vietnamese political prisoners, then it was used to keep American pilots during the Vietnam War.

  • Museum of Art: showing big collections of valuable artworks in Vietnam.

  • Ethnology Museum: Exhibit the exclusive characteristics of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam


12.00: You enjoy the lunch served in a local restaurant with traditional food.

14.00: After taking a short break, you will be taken to the Temple of Literature which was built in the 1070s to worship Confucius and serve as a school for King’s children. Therefore, it is believed to be the first university in Vietnam at which you can learn about Vietnamese educational history. Nowadays, there are thousands of students coming here to pray for their upcoming examinations.

15.30: The tour continues visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda located in the biggest lake in Hanoi - the West Lake. This pagoda was built in the 6th century, preserving both historical and religious values, therefore, many people come here to pray for their wishes. You will have an opportunity to see how people practice their religion and belief such as praying, releasing alive animals, burning votive paper, so on.

After that, you will be dropped at your hotel.

Notes: During the city tour, you will visit several places that require you to dress properly to cover your shoulders and knees... Please, make a note of that.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)

8.00 am - 8.30 am: After having breakfast in the hotel, you should be ready at the lobby at least 5 minutes earlier than the picking-up time before our tour guide arrives. The more precise pick-up time will be informed to you in advance, therefore, you should arrange your breakfast time and prepare your luggage to be on time.

It takes around 3.5 hours to get the Harbor in Halong Bay. Along the way, there is a short break for refreshment.

12.00: You will arrive at the Harbor, then embark on the cruise to start exploring a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. The Bay is a great creation art of nature with the presence of thousands of rock islands rising above the emerald water, and many interesting caves gathering into a vibrant and mysterious world.

You will be welcomed on board with hospitable drinks, followed by a short introduction of the cruise as well as brief of safety information.

After that, a special lunch will be served with various food, and various drinks like wine, beer, cocktail are available at the bar. (If you have any special requests such as diet, allergy, or anything else, make it clear with us in advance). Enjoy your lunch while the cruise is sailing through the spectacular landscape of limestone mountains on the bay.

Once lunch is finished, you can go to your cabin for a rest or enjoy your leisure time on the sundeck.

In the afternoon, when the cruise stays in the calm emerald water areas, you can go for swimming and kayaking on the wonderful bay. Our tutor will show you how to control a kayak, so don’t worry about whether you are good at it or not. It would be an unforgettable experience.

After around 1 hour for recreational activities, back to the cruise to rest and then join a Cooking Class in the late afternoon. You will be introduced to Vietnamese culinary, and of course, try to make some traditional food by yourself.

19.00: Dinner will be served in the dining room or outdoor area if possible.

After dinner, you can socialize with other guests through some activities like dancing, singing, or sharing your own travel experiences.

Don’t forget to join squid fishing at night, it would be fun.

Day 4: Halong Bay Further Exploring (B, L, D)

6.30 am: A professional tutor will deliver a Tai Chi session-a slight physical exercise-which helps you feel full of energy for the upcoming day. Also, early risers will have a chance to catch up with the magnificent sunrise over thousands of limestone mountains.

7.00 am - 8.00 am: A typical breakfast will be served. After having breakfast, you will be transferred to a day cruise to explore the beautiful corners of the World Heritage Site.

9.00 am: You can go up to the sundeck for sunbathing, or join recreational activities of swimming and kayaking. There will be time for you to relax with your family and friends.

12.00: Lunch will be served on the day boat with seafood and Vietnamese traditional cuisine.

In the afternoon, our cruise will visit Cua Van fishing village, one of the oldest fishing village in Halong Bay. You will have a great opportunity to explore “the floating life” of local fisherman, and various kinds of fish. Moreover, before coming to our cruise, we will pay a visit a floating Pearl Farm to learn how people cultivate pearls, also how they produce jewelry from pearl manually which are very meaningful gifts for your beloved people.

17.00: We come back to our original cruise to enjoy the rest of the day.

19.00: A romantic dinner will be served.

Day 5: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi - Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

6.30 am: Let's join a Tai Chi class on the sundeck before continuing the last day on the cruise.

7.00 am - 8.00 am: Time for breakfast. After breakfast, you will have time for saving memorable tríp with plenty of photos capturing the stunning scenery of thousands of limestone islets rising above the emerald water in Halong Bay. Moreover, don’t forget to have some pictures with our captain and friendly crew members.

9.00 am: Our cruise will stop for you to visit Sung Sot Cave whose name means surprising cave, is one of the largest and most impressive caves in this area. Before coming back to the cruise, you will pass by a fishing village.

10.30 am: An early lunch will be served while the cruise is going back to the harbor.

12.00: Disembark the cruise. The shuttle bus is waiting to transfer you back to Hanoi.

16.00: You will be escorted to Noi Bai International Airport to take a 2-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Sai Gon), located in the Southern part of Vietnam.

Our tour guide will wait for you at the arrival gate to pick you up, then escort you to your hotel in the city center.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - City Tour (B, L)

8.30 am: Having breakfast at the hotel, then you will be picked up to transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels which is one of the most famous historical relics in Sai Gon. During the resistance wars, Vietnamese guerrillas made an intensive network running underneath extending about 250 km to house thousands of soldiers, hide from the enemy, and deliver surprise attacks. There are enough hospitals, schools, kitchens built into the extraordinary tunnels. Going through a small wooden entrance covered by camouflage leaves above, you will be amazed at how Vietnamese people could live underground.

Moreover, you also have a chance to try shooting with typical guns used in the war (additional charge). After complete guidance, you can try to shoot real bullets to target.

At noon, we will come back to the city center. Have lunch along the way to the city center.

14.00: You will visit Reunification Palace which is considered as the symbol of North-South reunification. You will have in-depth knowledge about the periods Vietnam was divided into Northern Vietnam and Southern Vietnam, with the border of the 17 parallel.

15.30: You will be back at your hotel. During the rest of the day, you can relax at your hotel or stroll around a dynamic city with crowded walking street and beer street. The nightlife in Ho Chi Minh city is super active.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh city- Mekong Boat Trip (B, L)

8.00 am: Finishing your breakfast at the hotel, then our tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to depart Mekong Boat Trip for one day.

The first place is Cai Be floating market- one of the most famous floating markets in the western area of southern Vietnam. Visiting Cai Be floating market, you will be amazed at how the market is taken place on the river. There are hundreds of both small and big boats carrying plenty of merchandise from tropical fruits, vegetables to electronic products, and other commodities. Each boat will hang their typical products on a high bamboo stick or place on the top of the boat, therefore, it’s easy to find what you want from a far distance.

After that, you will have a chance to visit a local workshop where you can learn how people make rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice. Moreover, a nearby handicraft village will show you how to produce fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut leaves for house proof, and rice paper for cooking spring roll.

12.00: You will have lunch with various local dishes.
After lunchtime, you will get on a traditional boat to go around the interlaced canal system. Along the way, you will see the daily life in the Mekong Delta area with a traditional wooden house, palm trees, coconut trees. If possible, we can visit a fruit garden to enjoy many kinds of fruit because Mekong Delta is the largest fruit growing land in Vietnam thanks to its natural resources.

15.30: We come back to Vinh Long town, then drive back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City- Departure (B)

Having breakfast at your hotel and preparing your luggage before our driver picks you to go to Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Have a safe flight to your home country or next destination.
